Our journey.

It has been 6 years since I’ve left home and much have changed. I still remember vividly the day I left home, busy packing up all the last minute essentials, boxing up the computer, watching the tears rolled down my parents eye and was to young to understand why were they getting all upset about me leaving. On that day, all I could remember was the feeling of excitement and believed that this would be a new chapter of my life, the freedom, the foreign environment and with the love of my life, Sarah, by my side, I knew the outcome of this journey can only be a good one.

We arrived at Monsterville and settled into our very own place, our very own home as we initially thought it would be. The place was in a absolute mess, the walls was filled with rainbow coloured graffiti from bottom to top, roaches were in every nook and cranny. We gave the place a complete wash down and spent unnecessarily on all sorts of furniture and ornaments to filled this void. Something till this day I regret doing, as after months of staying there, things took a major dive, we had a very immature landlady who were out to squeeze every cent from us, a major bitch, the last straw was she wanted to increase the rent by a good 50%, we packed our stuff so quickly and trash many stuff we bought, a very painful and expensive first time experience. We have since learned that in Monsterville, a home does not exist and we are always guest in someone’s house.
